Use of Amniotic Microparticles Coated with Fibroblasts Overexpressing SDF-1a to Create an Environment Conducive to Neovascularization for Repair of Full-Thickness Skin Defects

open access: yesCell Transplantation, 2016
As angiogenesis and vasculogenesis involve the complex network structures of various types of cells, extracellular matrix components, and cytokines, it is still difficult to exactly mimic the microenvironment of vascularization in vivo.

Hematoma Interleukin‐1 Receptor Antagonist Concentrations Predict Long‐Term Outcome in Acute Human Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objectives The interleukin (IL)‐1, IL‐6, and C‐reactive protein (CRP) pathway is central to the immune response after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). We tested for associations between hematoma and plasma cytokine concentrations and patient outcomes in Minimally Invasive Surgery Plus Rt‐PA for ICH Evacuation Phase III (MISTIE III) participants ...

Atomically precise metal cluster enzymes for pathological tissue regeneration

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of atomically precise metal cluster enzymes (MCEs) for pathological tissue regeneration. Atomically precise MCEs can modulate biological processes, such as attenuation of inflammatory responses, eradication of bacterial pathogens, regulation of angiogenesis, and promotion of cell development.

Diastereoselective Copper‐Catalyzed Defluorosilylation of Pentafluoroethyl Alkenes to Access Polyfluorinated Allylsilanes

open access: yesChinese Journal of Chemistry, EarlyView.
Under copper(I) catalysis, pentafluoroethylated alkenes can undergo smooth defluorosilylation to generate novel polyfluorinated products. The reaction exhibits high levels of diastereoselectivities for obtaining multisubstituted allylsilanes with control of the double bond geometry.

Comparison of left ventricular hemodynamic forces measured by transthoracic echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in healthy adults

open access: yesScientific Reports
Hemodynamic forces (HDF), which reflect the forces exchanged between blood and cardiac tissues, can be derived from cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) or transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).

Advances in vital‐sign prediction and early‐warning models for underground coal mine workers integrating environmental factors

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review synthesizes advances in predicting miners' vital signs by integrating environmental monitoring (dust, temperature, and gas) with physiological data. It highlights multi‐source data fusion techniques and early‐warning models for enhanced occupational safety in underground coal mines.

Analysis of 2-Year Survival Outcomes of Japanese Older Populations on Hemodiafiltration: A Propensity Score-Matched Study Based on Insurance Claims Data

open access: yesKidney and Dialysis
Despite the lack of evidence that suggests hemodiafiltration (HDF) offers a better survival outcome than standard hemodialysis (HD), the number of patients initiating HDF in Japan continues to rise.

Albumin losses during hemodiafiltration: all dialyzers are not created equal - a case report

open access: yesBMC Nephrology, 2019
Background Online hemodiafiltration (OL-HDF) is associated with better removal of both small and middle molecules and might improve survival compared to conventional hemodialysis (HD).

Dapagliflozin alleviates high‐fat‐induced obesity cardiomyopathy by inhibiting ferroptosis

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1358-1373, April 2025.
Abstract Aim: Dapagliflozin (Dapa) is a novel hypoglycaemic agent with multiple cardiovascular protective effects, and it is widely used in treatment of heart failure patients, but whether it can improve obese phenotype of heart failure and its mechanism is still unclear.

Main Group Metals in Redox Catalysis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Main group metal redox catalysis is emerging as a credible alternative to transition metal chemistry. Elements from groups 13 to 15 now enable diverse catalytic manifolds, driven by ligand design and control of electronic structure. This review highlights recent advances, key design principles, and remaining challenges, positioning main group metals as
