Investigation of the surface electron mobility in liquid He4 and weak solutions of He3 in He4
Soviet Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 1980The mobility of electrons localized near a liquid He4 surface has been investigated experimentally by different methods in the 0.1−1 °K temperature interval. The mobility increases according to a law close to T−1 as the temperature is lowered. The results obtained are in good agreement with available theoretical ideas.

Abstract This paper deals with a special Pomeranchuk cooling device which is used in combination with a He 4 -cycling He 3 -He 4 dilution refrigerator at high pressures. The lowest temperature obtained was 1.1 mK.

Abstract An apparatus for simultaneous measurements of heat capacities and pressure coefficients was designed and constructed for experimental studies of critical phenomena near the lambda points of liquid He 4 and He 3 - He 4 mixtures. The pressure was measured with a capacitance pressure sensor involving a copper-beryllium thin plate (0.4 mm ...

Some of the more surprising aspects of both He3 and He4 are the exceedingly complex phase diagrams which have been mapped for these seemingly simple substances. In connection with the λ-transition of He4, we have already seen how the P-V-T and thermal properties behave anomalously, as we have also discussed some of the unusual characteristics of ...

Critical Phenomena in He3 and He4
1969Nearly one hundred years ago, T. Andrews deduced that for every gas, there should be a “critical temperature” above which the gas cannot be liquefied no matter how much it might be compressed. Further studies revealed that the critical temperature was one coordinate of a point on the P-V-T surface where differences between the intensive properties of ...
