Single-Kidney Transplant on VA-ECMO While Recovering from Post-Heart-Transplant Graft Failure
Although no consensus exists on whether extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support is an indication for solid-organ transplantation other than heart and lung, this practice continues to be limited.

Combined transplantation of the heart, lung, and liver
Combined transplantation of the heart, lung, and liver may be indicated in patients with either end-stage respiratory failure complicated by advanced liver disease or end-stage liver failure complicated by advanced lung disease. A retrospective review of nine patients who underwent combined heart-lung-liver transplantation in Cambridge (1986-99) was ...

Through a comprehensive multi‐omics analysis, this study identifies a marked reduction in Nephronectin (NPNT) expression within fibrotic lung tissue. This reduction impairs the binding capability to the ITGA3 receptor, consequently causing YAP1 to persist in the cytoplasm, where it undergoes degradation.

Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.

Dysregulated RNA splicing is an underappreciated molecular feature of cancer. By integrating murine and cellular models with patient specimens of lung adenocarcinoma, this study demonstrates that RAC1B, rather than RAC1A isoform, promotes tumorigenesis and presents a potent therapeutic target for lung cancer. Mechanistically, RAC1B preferentially binds
