Objective Rheumatoid sarcopenia, characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and function, is a frequent comorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), linked to prolonged, severe systemic inflammation. Purinergic signaling (adenosine, AMP, and ATP) plays a crucial role in inflammation, myogenesis, and muscle hypertrophy.

ABSTRACT Neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD), are characterized by the pathological aggregation of specific proteins such as amyloid beta (Aβ) and α‐synuclein, respectively. Early detection of these protein aggregates in biological fluids could facilitate timely diagnosis and therapeutic ...

Heat shock protein 70 and bovine paratuberculosis
Paratuberculosis, or Johne’s disease, is a chronic infection of the small intestine of cattle caused by Mycobacterium avium ssp. paratuberculosis (M.a.p.) , leading to an incurable form of protein loosing enteropathy. Young animals are orally infected with M.a.p., which resides and replicates in the macrophages of the gut.

Chlorella vulgaris biorefineries: sustainable biofuels and high‐value carbon capture
Abstract Global reliance on fossil fuels has created urgent economic and environmental challenges, yet large‐scale use of algal biomass remains limited by production costs. Industrial scaling is constrained by inefficient harvesting and the technical challenges of processing recalcitrant cell walls.
