Summary: Heat shock can be a lethal stressor. Previously, we described a CUL-6/cullin-ring ubiquitin ligase complex in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans that is induced by intracellular intestinal infection and proteotoxic stress and that promotes ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Proteomic analysis of the heat shock and acclimation responses of Cyanobacteria [PDF]
The cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 is a model experimental organism for proteomic research because its entire genomic sequence is available and cyanobacteria have high adaptive potential towards a variety of environmental stresses.

Temperature stress response of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) in the clam Paphia undulata
The Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are a group of molecular chaperones that play a crucial role in cell response to various stresses. A full-length cDNA of the heat shock protein 90 (PuHsp90) was cloned and sequenced from the clam Paphia undulata ...

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Recognition of tumor-targeting peptide P7 related to the expression level of Hsp90 [PDF]
Objective To analyze the correlation between the expression of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) and the recognition of LPLTPLP (P7) on different tumor tissues and para-carcinoma tissues. Methods The expression of HSP90 and recognition effects of FITC-P7
