T‐lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) is an aggressive hematological malignancy that accounts for 10%–15% of pediatric and 25% of adult ALL cases. Although the prognosis of T‐ALL has improved over time, the outcome of T‐ALL patients with primary

Postembryonic Hematopoiesis in Drosophila
We have investigated the blood cell types present in Drosophila at postembryonic stages and have analysed their modifications during development and under immune conditions. The anterior lobes of the larval hematopoietic organ or lymph gland contain numerous active secretory cells, plasmatocytes, few crystal cells, and a number of undifferentiated ...

A miniaturized, label‐free, and enzyme‐free biosensor (miR‐TFT) enables direct electrical detection of microRNA (miRNA) with single‐nucleotide specificity and a detection limit of 0.6 fM. Built on a tri‐channel In2O3/ZnO heterojunction and functionalized with bespoke peptide nucleic acid (PNA) probes, the device is robust, reusable, and compatible with

Nanobody‐Decorated Lipid Nanoparticles for Enhanced mRNA Delivery to Tumors In Vivo
This study presents a targeted mRNA‐LNP platform engineered with anti‐PSMA nanobodies for prostate cancer therapy. Using different in vivo models, the authors demonstrate selective uptake and mRNA delivery in PSMA+ cancer cells. However, while targeting is enhanced, mRNA delivery efficacy is limited by tissue penetration, tumor necrosis, and immune ...

Si Inhibited Osteoclastogenesis: The Role of Fe and the Fenton Reaction
Silicate (Si) inhibition of osteoclastogenesis, is mediated by Fe. Si chemical interactions with Fe inhibit the Fenton reaction and intercellular ROS availability. This reduction in ROS availability inhibits osteoclastogenesis. The addition of Fe, in Si‐inhibited osteoclast cultures, restores the Fenton reaction, and osteoclastogenesis.

Lymphoid and CXCR4 Cell Targeted Lipid Nanoparticles Facilitate HIV‐1 Proviral DNA Excision
Advancements in ART improve HIV‐1 patient outcomes but are unable to eliminate latent viral DNA. To address this, CXCR4‐targeted lipid nanoparticles (T‐LNPs) for delivering CRISPR‐Cas9 to excise HIV‐1 DNA in infected cells are developed. These T‐LNPs achieve ≈60% HIV‐1 DNA excision efficacy in blood and splenic tissue, demonstrating promise for ...

Hematopoiesis is a dynamic process where initiation and maintenance of hematopoietic stem cells, as well as their differentiation into erythroid, myeloid and lymphoid lineages, are tightly regulated by a network of transcription factors.
