The biomimetic self‐assembly nanomedicine reversing atherosclerosis via senotherapy strategy. ABSTRACT The greatest challenge in atherosclerosis (AS) management lies in achieving lesion reversal, not merely slowing progression. Senescent cell accumulation—driven by continuous generation and apoptotic resistance—perpetuates plaque pathology and ...

Telomerase in hematopoietic stem cells [PDF]
A proliferação das células-tronco hematopoéticas sofre a perda dos telômeros a cada divisão celular. Alguns autores discordam quanto à perda ou não do potencial proliferativo e capacidade de auto-renovação das células mais diferenciadas. Revisaremos aqui

ABSTRACT Vascularization remains a major obstacle in tissue engineering. Here, we introduce a bioprinting strategy to generate centimeter‐scale, self‐organizing “mother vessel” constructs from iPSC‐derived hiMPCs. By optimizing bioink composition, printing was accomplished in a single‐step approach. Within one week, hiMPCs differentiated into both CD31+

Allosteric Inhibition of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 by an EZH2‐Selective Small Molecule Inhibitor
The study characterizes C36, a highly selective EZH2/PRC2 inhibitor that acts via a novel allosteric mechanism. Unlike previous inhibitors, C36 inhibits EZH2/PRC2 by disrupting the allosteric communication between EZH2 and EED in a SAM‐noncompetitive manner.

Maintaining Hematopoietic Stem Cells in the Vascular Niche
In this issue of Immunity, Sugiyama et al. (2006) provide evidence that most bone-marrow hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) reside in vascular niches containing reticular cells that secrete CXCL12, a chemokine that promotes HSC ...

Periprosthetic joint infection establishes a sophisticated immunosuppressive network between CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSCs and Bregs, inducing profound CD8+ T cell paralysis. Alendronate effectively disrupts this CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSC–Breg axis by targeting STAT3, thereby restoring local immune surveillance.
