This study develops a self‐powered permeable electronic dressing (SPED) that synergistically integrates exudate management, electrical stimulation, and on‐demand drug delivery. The dressing effectively absorbs exudate while demonstrating potent antibacterial activity and accelerated tissue regeneration in diabetic mouse models, thereby promoting ...

Long-Term Outcomes after Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia
Vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), or thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), is a rare but serious complication of adenovirus-based vaccines against severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

Biocompatible but Antibacterial Mechanism of Graphene Oxide for Sustainable Antibiotics
Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits selective antibacterial activity through specific interactions between its oxygen functional groups and bacterial membrane phospholipid POPG, causing membrane destabilization while maintaining biocompatibility. Model membrane studies and infected wound models in mice and pigs demonstrate effective bacterial suppression and ...

β-hydroxybutyrate suppresses pathological changes of blood-induced arthropathy in rats
Arthropathy is a common complication in haemophilia and decreases quality of life. It has been known that concentrations of β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) in blood are increased by a ketogenic diet, and elevated levels of circulating BHB restricts the ...

Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...
