Testosterone Delays Bone Microstructural Destruction via Osteoblast‐Androgen Receptor‐Mediated Upregulation of Tenascin‐C

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that Testosterone–Androgen Receptor signaling delays elderly male bone destruction by upregulation of the osteoblastic extracellular tenascin‐C (TNC). The osteoprotective effect of fibrinogen C‐terminus of TNC is demonstrated in male osteoporotic mice model that osteoblast‐specific Ar‐knockout, potentially via inhibition of ...

Scalable and Integrated Photocatalytic Reactor Systems for Solar‐to‐Fuel Production: Photoredox and Photoreforming Processes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Solar fuels and other value‐added chemicals derived from light‐driven reactions are highly desirable. Although advanced photoactive materials have been reported, demonstrations of their feasibility in large‐scale production are needed. Hence, strategies and recent efforts in scaling up photocatalytic reactors and integrating them into comprehensive ...

Linear confinement without dilaton in bottom-up holography for walking technicolour

open access: yes, 2009
In PRD78(2008)055005 [arXiv:0805.1503 [hep-ph]] and PRD79(2009)075004 [arXiv:0809.1324 [hep-ph]], we constructed a holographic description of walking technicolour theories using both a hard- and a soft-wall model.

Extended Gauge Sectors [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Present and future prospects for the discovery of new gauge bosons, $Z'$ and $W'$, are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to hadron and $e^+e^-$ collider searches for the $W'$ of the Left-Right Symmetric Model.

Positively bounds on spin one distribution and fragmentation functions, hep-ph/0104176

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2001
We establish a connection between the distribution functions of quarks in spin-one hadrons and the helicity matrix for forward scattering of antiquarks off spin-one hadrons. From positivity of this matrix we obtain inequality relations among the distribution functions. Analogous relations hold also for fragmentation functions.
