Furin interacted with PTEN‐L and activated PINK1/Parkin‐mediated mitophagy in HSCs. Furin inhibited HSC activation and alleviated liver fibrosis by regulating the PTEN‐L/PINK1/Parkin axis. Abstract Hepatic Stellate cells (HSCs) play an important role during liver fibrosis progression; more and more evidence indicates that mitophagy greatly regulates ...

A Guide to Screening for Autoimmune Diseases in Patients With Vulvar Lichen Sclerosus
ABSTRACTBackgroundThe aetiology of vulvar lichen sclerosus (VLS) remains unknown. However, there is evidence that in addition to a genetic predisposition, autoimmunity contributes to the pathogenesis.ObjectivesThe objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of autoimmune disease and positive autoantibody serology in patients with VLS ...

Feedback regulation of VISTA and Treg by TNF‐α controls T cell responses in drug allergy
TNF‐α breaks immune tolerance by regulating the VISTA at early stage of the drug‐specific T‐cell response. The response of drug‐responsive effector T cells was negative feedback regulated by increasing Treg cells. This indicates that Treg agonists, rather than TNF‐α antagonists, could be used to treat patients with progressive SCARs.
