Hepatitis B Surface Antigen in Corneal Donors
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1987 Using an enzyme immunoassay, we detected hepatitis B surface antigen in washings of ocular tissue from two of three corneal donors who had positive serum assays for hepatitis B surface antigen. Hepatitis B surface antigen was identified in emulsified corneal tissue from one of two donors from whom corneal tissue was available for study.
