Revaccination Response and Lack of Hepatitis B Reactivation After HCT for Sickle Cell Disease

At baseline, 55% of sickle cell patients showed HBV immunity, and 93% received post HCT revaccination, with 89% completing the series. Between Years 1–2, 67.5% of vaccinated patients had rising anti HBs titers. No HBV reactivation occurred, though nonresponders under heavy immunosuppression need further study.
