Hcfc1 and Ogt Mediate Zebrafish CNS Regeneration Through Hippo/Yap Signalling

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
This work identifies Hcfc1 and Ogt as key regulators of zebrafish CNS regeneration through modulation of Hippo/Yap signalling. Loss of Hcfc1 or Ogt activity inhibition impairs regeneration, which is restored by Yap overexpression, revealing a new regulatory axis that enhances CNS regenerative capacity.

Efficacy, Safety and Biological Characteristics of Formulation Based on Essential Oil Against Co-Infections of Herpes Simplex Virus-1 and Candida albicans. [PDF]

open access: yesMicrobiologyopen
Essential oils with anti‐HSV‐1 activity were identified through literature review and tested against Candida to develop a formulation for co‐infections. The blend was assessed for anti‐inflammatory properties, allergenic potential via standardized BAT, and overall antiviral efficacy.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae‐Induced Rash and Mucositis: Clinicopathologic Characterization of 11 Cases

open access: yesJournal of Cutaneous Pathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Mycoplasma pneumoniae‐induced rash and mucositis (MIRM) is a mucocutaneous eruption affecting children and young adults with respiratory tract or clinically occult infection by M. pneumoniae. Mucosal involvement is often robust and may raise concern for Stevens–Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN).

Herpes simplex keratitis.

open access: yesIndian journal of ophthalmology, 1999
Chronic infection of the cornea by Herpes simplex virus (HSV) continues to be an important cause of unilateral blindness. Despite considerable progress in the understanding of the virus at cellular and molecular levels, the prospect of prevention still appears to be long way off.

Neoadjuvant therapy in skin cancer: current evidence and future perspectives

open access: yesJDDG: Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, EarlyView.
Summary The development of immune checkpoint inhibitors and targeted therapies has fundamentally changed the treatment of cutaneous malignancies, especially in squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma. The latest neoadjuvant approaches have shown promising results in locally advanced stages.
