ABSTRACT Equine melanocytic neoplasms (EMN) are aggressive tumours characterised by high metastatic potential and limited therapeutic options available. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying their progression remain poorly understood. This study therefore presents the integrative phosphoproteomic analysis of EMN tissue, with the aim of ...

Synthesis and processing of bovine herpesvirus-1 glycoprotein H
The translation product of the bovine herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1) gH gene was identified and characterized. Synthetic peptides were used to generate specific antisera and a glycoprotein of 108K was precipitated by one of the antisera. Cross-immunoprecipitations with monoclonal antibodies to BHV-1 glycoprotein gp108 and the anti-gH peptide antiserum ...

DETECTION OF BOVINE HERPES NIRUS TYPE 1 IN SEMEN USING A RAPID AND SENSITIVE POLYMERASE CHAIN REAACTION ASSAY [PDF]
polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for the detection of bovine herpesvirus type1 | (BHV-1) was evaluated. Since bovine semen contains components that inhibit PCR amplification, a protocol was used to purify BHV-1 DNA from semen. The study to compare the PCR

Polymerase chain reaction amplification of genomic fragments of bovine herpesvirus-1
Especial conditions were developed for the amplification of five DNA segments from US region of BHV-1 by polymerase chain reaction. In order to eliminate most nonspecific products it was found that addition of three cosolvents DMSO, glycerol and NP 40 ...

R17 Drives Heparan Sulfate Clearance via Endolysosomal Trafficking
R17 is a viral protein that binds heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans and traffics them to the lysosome, leading to their degradation in a manner that does not require the presence of the cation‐independent mannose‐6‐phosphatre receptor. In BxPC3 pancreatic cancer cells, this loss in heparan sulfate results in the reduction of cell migration.

RNF213 is characterized as a dual‐functional antiviral effector. It directly mediates the degradation of the influenza A virus nucleoprotein (NP) while simultaneously activating the MDA5‐mediated innate immune signaling pathway. This coordinated response establishes a powerful host defense system against viral infection. ABSTRACT Influenza A virus (IAV)
