Heuristics, Advanced Heuristics or Optimal Algorithm
The order-picking, process of retrieving items from storage locations in response to a specific customer request, is the most laborious and the most costly activity in a typical warehouse. As the 50% of total order picking time is spent on traveling, reducing travel distances is one of a warehouse designers' objectives.

Temporal Interference Stimulation Enhances Neural Regeneration
Temporal interference (TI) stimulation is proposed as a non‐invasive approach to enhance neural regeneration in the deep brain. Theta‐band TI modulation selectively promotes neural progenitor cell differentiation in vitro and augments hippocampal neurogenesis in amouse model of Alzheimer's disease‐like amyloidosis.

Optimality testing in stochastic and heuristic algorithms
In this paper we consider the application of order statistics to establish the optimality in stochastic and heuristic optimization algorithms. We suggest a method for the estimation of confidence intervals of minimum using order statistics which is ...

The continuous p-centre problem: An investigation into variable neighbourhood search with memory [PDF]
A VNS-based heuristic using both a facility as well as a customer type neighbourhood structure is proposed to solve the p-centre problem in the continuous space.
