Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Crystal Growth: A General Framework for Anisotropic Crystal Growth in Cu‐Based Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Growth (CMDLG) framework is established to rationalize the anisotropic growth of lead‐free perovskites. Integrating coordination chemistry with mass transport kinetics, this study theoretically derives and experimentally validates that stable iodocuprate complexes induce a diffusion‐limited regime.

Polymer Infiltration Into SURMOF Channels Enables Hydrophobic and Solid‐Like Slippery Functional Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a polymer‐chain insertion strategy to fabricate pore‐threaded MOF thin films with precisely tuned surface chemistry and wettability. Grafting n‐alkane chains into the pillared layer Cu2(bdc)2(dabco) MOF thin film's vertical nanochannels enhances water stability, and induces hydrophobicity and lubricant‐free, solid‐like slippery behavior ...

Hierarchical Task Planning for Power Line Flow Regulation

open access: yesCSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems
The complexity and uncertainty in power systems cause great challenges to controlling power grids. As a popular data-driven technique, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) attracts attention in the control of power grids.

Building and Refining Abstract Planning Cases by Change of Representation Language

open access: yes, 1995
ion is one of the most promising approaches to improve the performance of problem solvers. In several domains abstraction by dropping sentences of a domain description -- as used in most hierarchical planners -- has proven useful.

LL‐37 Driven Phase Transition and Stacking in Oligolamellar Gram‐Negative Bacterial Membrane Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work establishes oligolamellar bacterial membrane models to investigate how LL‐37 disrupts the complex dual‐bilayer architecture of Gram‐negative bacteria. Combining SAXS, cryo‐TEM, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and coarse‐grained simulations, it reveals cardiolipin‐driven phase transitions leading to bicelle‐like structures and membrane ...

Vehicle Painting Robot Path Planning Using Hierarchical Optimization

open access: yesIEEE Access
In vehicle production factories, the vehicle painting process employs multiple robotic arms to simultaneously apply paint to car bodies advancing along a conveyor line. Designing paint paths for these robotic arms, which involves assigning car body areas

A Hierarchical Mission Planning Method for Simultaneous Arrival of Multi-UAV Coalition

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
A hierarchical mission planning method was proposed to solve a simultaneous attack mission planning problem for multi-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The method consisted of three phases aiming to decouple and solve the mission planning problem.

A Hybrid System of Hierarchical Planning of Behaviour Selection Networks for Mobile Robot Control

open access: yes, 2014
An office delivery robot receives a large amount of sensory data and there is uncertainty in its action outcomes. The robot should not only accomplish its goals using environmental information, but also consider various exceptions simultaneously. In this

Auxeticity‐by‐Assembly: Interlocking Modular Auxetic Metamaterials with Selectively Activatable AgNW–Graphene Oxide‐EGaIn Composite Interconnects for Scalable Freeform Photovoltaic Modules

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Auxeticity‑by‑Assembly converts freeform photovoltaics from cut‑defined layouts to assembly‑defined systems. Standardized interlocking units generate negative‑Poisson‑ratio, reconfigurable architectures, while hinge regions are wired by selectively activatable AgNW–GO@EGaIn composite interconnects and a folding‑enabled interconnector layer. A decimeter‑
