High-frequency thermal processes in harmonic crystals [PDF]

open access: yesDoklady Physics, 2017
We consider two high-frequency thermal processes in uniformly heated harmonic crystals relaxing towards equilibrium: (i) equilibration of kinetic and potential energies and (ii) redistribution of energy among spatial directions. Equation describing these processes with deterministic initial conditions is derived.

Research on hybrid controller utilizing proportional and repetitive control scheme for Permanent Magnet Servo System

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
Due to the existence of high amount stator current harmonics caused by the inverter nonlinearity, the operation performance of Permanent Magnet Servo System (PMSS) used Proportional–Integral (PI) controller will be affected.

The relationship between bubble concentration and the acoustic emission energy of separate frequency bands [PDF]

open access: yesJASA Express Letters, 2022
This letter presents the relationship between bubble concentration and the energy ratio of low to high frequency bands of their acoustic emissions. Two sensors, placed perpendicular and concentric to a transmitter, captured the emissions from sonicated ...

Calculation improvement of no-load stray losses in induction motors with experimental validation [PDF]

open access: yesSerbian Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2015
On the basis of the known fact that all air gap main flux density variations are enclosed by permeance slot harmonics, only one component of stray losses in rotor (stator) iron is considered in the new classification, instead of 2 components ...

An Iterative Hybrid Harmonics Detection Method Based on Discrete Wavelet Transform and Bartlett–Hann Window

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
The current signal harmonic detection method(s) cannot reduce the errors in the analysis and extraction of mixed harmonics in the power grid. This paper designs a harmonic detection method based on discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and discrete wavelet ...

Accurate and Fast Parallelized Assessment of Waveform Distortions in Presence of Low and High frequency Spectral Components

open access: yes, 2022
The waveforms distortion assessment nowadays requires great research efforts due to the contemporaneous presence of low- and high-frequency harmonics and interharmonics (up to 150 kHz). In this paper, a new multi-method approach allowed accurate and fast

Induction Motor Direct Torque Control with Synchronous PWM

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
A novel induction motor direct torque control (DTC) algorithm with synchronous modulation is presented. Compared to the traditional DTC method, whose main drawback is the presence of low-frequency torque harmonics (sub-harmonics), in the proposed method,

High-Frequency Behavior of Residual Current Devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the behavior of residual current devices at frequencies higher than the rated one. Many experiments are carried out by measuring tripping current and time of devices of different typology, produced by different ...

An Improved Modulation Method for Parallel Three-Level Rectifiers With Circulating Current Mitigation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
An improved modulation method is proposed for two parallel three-level interleaved rectifiers to reduce current harmonics and high-frequency zero-sequence circulating current, which uses sinusoidal pulse width modulation.
