Recurrent prostatic stromal sarcoma with massive high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia [PDF]
A unique case of prostatic stromal sarcoma (PSS) that recurred in the pelvic cavity with massive high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia is described. A 52-year-old man who presented with urinary retention underwent a radical cystoprostatectomy.

Significance of high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia on needle biopsy
We studied 33 cases with an initial needle biopsy of the prostate that showed only high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN 2-3), for which follow-up biopsies were available. Twenty-four men (73%) were shown to have adenocarcinoma either on a simultaneous (14 patients) or subsequent (10 patients) biopsy.

Urinary biomarkers for the detection of prostate cancer in patients with high‐grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia [PDF]
INTRODUCTIONHigh‐grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) is a recognized precursor stage of PCa. Men who present HGPIN in a first prostate biopsy face years of active surveillance including repeat biopsies. This study aimed to identify non‐invasive prognostic biomarkers that differentiate early on between indolent HGPIN cases and those that ...
