Basic characterization of uranium by high-resolution gamma spectroscopy

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology, 2018
A basic characterization of uranium samples was performed using gamma- and X-ray spectroscopy. The studied uranium samples were eight types of certified reference materials with 235U enrichments in the range of 1–97%, and the measurements were performed ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

High-Resolution Photoelectron Spectroscopy and ab initio Quantum Chemistry

open access: yesCHIMIA, 2004
The resolution that can be achieved by photoelectron spectroscopy has been continually improved over the past 50 years and is now sufficiently high for the rovibronic energy level structure of polyatomic molecular cations to be measured accurately ...

Photon Polarization Precession Spectroscopy for High-Resolution Studies of Spinwaves

open access: yes, 2014
A new type of spectroscopy for high-resolution studies of spin waves that relies on resonant scattering of hard x-rays is introduced. The energy transfer in the scattering process is encoded in the precession of the polarization vector of the scattered ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

High resolution nonlinear laser spectroscopy

open access: yesJournal of Research of the National Bureau of Standards, 1988
High resolution laser techniques were developed that address the problems listed above. The techniques are collectively called site selective laser spectroscopy. They relied upon the idea that a narrow band laser could be tuned to excite selectively an absorption line of a specific component or site within a sample so the resulting fluorescence ...

High resolution hypernuclear spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal A, 2005
Hypernuclear spectroscopy provides fundamental information for understanding the effective Λ-Nucleon interaction. Jefferson Laboratory experiment E94-107 was designed to perform high resolution hypernuclear spectroscopy by electroproduction of strangeness in four 1p-shell nuclei: 12C, 9Be, 16O, and 7Li.

High-resolution iron-line spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yes
Methods of resolving the iron lines, the most common X-ray emission lines in both galactic and extragalactic X-ray sources, are reviewed. A self-focussing crystal spectrometer is shown to be the most suitable instrument, and the optimum crystal geometry ...
