Abstract This retrospective analysis reviewed 183 patients with acute myocardial infarction who were given front-loaded recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator (rt-PA) and r-hirudin (HBW 023) in 1 of 4 dose groups (bolus dose of 0.07, 0.1, 0.2, or 0.4 mg/kg, followed by an infusion of 0.05, 0.06, 0.1, or 0.15 ma/kg/hour over 48 hours ...

To investigate the effect of natural hirudin combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the survival of transplanted random-pattern skin flap in rats.A random-pattern skin flap in size of 10.0 cm×2.5 cm was elevated on the dorsum of 72 Sprague Dawley rats. Then the 72 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups ( n=18) according to the therapy method.

Plaque rupture with consecutive formation of an intraluminal, platelet-rich thrombus is the central mechanism leading to critical reduction of coronary perfusion in the acute coronary syndrome. Current therapeutic strategies aim at the inhibition of activation of platelets and the coagulation cascade and the suppression of platelet aggregation and ...

This study assessed the prognostic impact of right ventricular involvement (RVI) in streptokinase-treated patients with inferior acute myocardial infarction (AMI) stratified for small or large AMI.Only scant data exist from small studies about the impact of reperfusion therapy on survival in patients with RVI during inferior AMI.Right ventricular ...
