HLA class II associations with rheumatic heart disease among clinically homogeneous patients in children in Latvia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Genetic control of immune reactions has a major role in the development of rheumatic heart disease (RHD) and differs between patients with rheumatic fever (RF).

Genetically Engineered IL12/CSF1R‐Macrophage Membrane‐Liposome Hybrid Nanovesicles for NIR‐II Fluorescence Imaging‐Guided and Membrane‐Targeted Mild Photothermal‐Immunotherapy of Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A theranostic nanoplatform is formulated with NIR‐II emissive lipophilic cyanine dye IRC18 to intercalate into genetically engineered IL12/CSF1R‐macrophage membrane‐liposome hybrid nanovesicles, which assists to achieve blood–brain barrier crossing, glioblastoma targeting, NIR‐II fluorescence imaging, image‐guided membrane‐targeted mild photothermal ...

A General Theory for Direct Quantitative Analysis of Antigen [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
A theory for direct quantitative analysis of an antigen is proposed. It is based on a potential homogenous immunoreaction system. It establishes an equation to describe the concentration change of the antigen and antibody complex. A maximum point is found in the concentration profile of the complex which can be used to calculate the concentration of ...

CCN1 Enhances Tumor Immunosuppression through Collagen‐Mediated Chemokine Secretion in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CCN1 modulates the tumor microenvironment in pancreatic cancer by promoting collagen‐dependent chemokine production, thereby facilitating immune evasion. Deletion of CCN1 not only suppresses tumor growth but also enhances immune cell infiltration and increases tumor sensitivity to both chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Structure of Murine Histocompatibility Antigens

open access: yesCold Spring Harbor Symposia on Quantitative Biology, 1977
H-2 antigens were characterized by physicochemical methods, by peptide mapping techniques, and by radiochemical amino acid sequence analysis. The combined data provide a working model of these molecules in solution and on the cell surface that includes the organization of the heavy (m.w. 46,000) and light (m.w.

CeiTEA: Adaptive Hierarchy of Single Cells with Topological Entropy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CeiTEA, a novel hierarchical clustering algorithm based on topological entropy, effectively captures complex structures underlying data. By constructing an adaptive multi‐nary partition tree, CeiTEA reveals hierarchical structures and local diversifications, outperforming existing methods in clustering accuracy and consistency and providing the ...

Idiotypes of anti-Ia antibodies. I. Expression of the 14-4-4S idiotype in humoral immune responses. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
The idiotype of a mouse monoclonal anti-I-E antibody, 14-4-4S, has been studied using a heterologous anti-idiotypic reagent. This antibody recognizes Ia.
