This study develops a biomimetic nanoplatform using erythrocyte membrane‐camouflaged, CD144 antibody‐functionalized nanoparticles to deliver 2‐deoxy‐D‐ribose (2dDR). This system promotes heart valve endothelialization by enhancing endothelial cell migration and proliferation via EGFR activation, while improving hemocompatibility.

A CD169+ macrophage‐targeted immunomodulator (G‐LNP@S‐D) is developed to co‐deliver a SHP2 inhibitor and STING agonist, thereby restoring phagocytic function, enhancing antigen presentation by CD169+ macrophages, and promoting T cell priming to eradicate lymphatic metastasis.

Host immune response to cytomegalovirus [PDF]
To confirm that immediate-early (IE) genes of murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) give rise to antigens recognized by specific cytolytic T lymphocytes (CTL), a 10.8-kilobase fragment of MCMV DNA which is abundantly transcribed at IE times was transfected into ...

MARCO+ TAMs dominate restrained cytotoxicity of CD8+ CTLs and ICB resistance in RCC. Mechanically, MARCO impairs MHC‐I‐mediated neoantigen cross‐presentation via the SOCS1‐JAK1‐STAT1‐NLRC5 signaling cascade in TAMs. Targeted MARCO treatment boosts macrophage antigen cross‐presentation and empowers CD8+ T cells, thereby potentiating ICB efficacy ...

Pro-inflammatory responses after peptide-based cancer immunotherapy
Therapeutic vaccinations are designed to prevent cancer by inducing immune responses against tumor antigens. in cancer cells, tumor-associated antigens (TAA) or tumor-specific (mutated) derived peptides are presented within the clefts of main ...

Restoration of the mitochondrial Fe–S protein FDX1 suppresses clear cell renal cell carcinoma by coupling ferroptosis with tumor‐intrinsic innate immune activation. FDX1 induces mitochondrial dysfunction and mtDNA/mt‐dsRNA release, activating cGAS–STING and RIG‐I/MDA5–MAVS signaling to elicit type I interferon responses, thereby promoting antigen ...

The Immune Microenvironment in Liver Cancer: From Analysis to Targeting
This review explores how smart nanomedicines overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in liver cancer. It details targeted delivery strategies and immune reprogramming mechanisms, including remodeling abnormal physiology, modulating metabolism, and inducing immunogenic cell death. The article highlights the paradigm shift toward multimodal
