Tumor‐Derived Exosomes Deliver Membrane‐Bound Fgl2 to Activate FcγRIIB‐Mediated Immunosuppression in Myeloid‐Derived Suppressor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the Fgl2‐FcγRIIB signaling axis is a key mechanism by which MDSCs mediate tumor immune evasion. Tumor‐derived exosomes systemically activate MDSCs via this pathway, positioning this axis as a promising broad‐spectrum target for cancer immunotherapy.

ASSESSMENT OF THE ROLE OF NON-CLASSICAL HUMAN LEUCOCYTIC ANTIGENS A-G (HLA-G) VARIATIONS ON HYDATID DISEASE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Egyptian Society of Parasitology
In Egypt, cystic echinococcosis (CE) is a public health problem that categorizes patients into susceptible or resistant groups referring to the immune system, particularly human leukocytic antigen (HLA) Class I & II.

HLA-G MOLECULES: FROM EMBRYO IMPLANTATION TO OOCYTE MATURATION

open access: yes, 2009
Background Assisted reproduction technique (ART) pregnancy rates have not changed in recent years and an increased risk of twins, triplets or higher order pregnancies leads to a perinatal mortality and morbidity.

A polyepitope DNA vaccine targeted to Her-2/ErbB-2 elicits a broad range of human and murine CTL effectors to protect against tumor challenge.

open access: yes, 2007
A cDNA vaccine (pVax1/pet-neu) was designed to encode 12 different Her-2/ErbB-2-derived, HLA-A*0201-restricted dominant and high-affinity heteroclitic cryptic epitopes.

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer immunotherapy faces challenges in predicting treatment responses and understanding resistance mechanisms. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offer powerful solutions for cancer immunotherapy in patient stratification, biomarker discovery, treatment strategy optimization, and foundation model development.

Regulator der humanen Immunantwort: HLA-G: Humane Leukozyten-Antigene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006

Congenital Cytomegalovirus Infection: Maternal–Child HLA-C, HLA-E, and HLA-G Affect Clinical Outcome

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
Congenital CMV infection (cCMV) is the most common congenital infection causing permanent long-term impairments (LTI). cCMV immunopathogenesis is largely unknown due to the complex interplay between viral, maternal, placental, and child factors.

Fully Humanized Bispecific T Cell Engager Shows Potent Activity in Central Nervous System and Peripheral Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports the development of a fully humanized bispecific T cell engager targeting IL13RA2, a tumor‐associated antigen enriched in glioblastoma. This off‐the‐shelf immunotherapy drives potent, antigen‐dependent T cell activation and tumor killing, and prolongs survival in experimental GBM and other solid tumors models without detectable off ...

Engineering Approaches to Modify Immunomodulatory Functions of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs): Tissue Regeneration and Clinical Application

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,
