Compressive holographic video

open access: yesOptics Express, 2017
Compressed sensing has been discussed separately in spatial and temporal domains. Compressive holography has been introduced as a method that allows 3D tomographic reconstruction at different depths from a single 2D image. Coded exposure is a temporal compressed sensing method for high speed video acquisition.

Coincident display using haptics and holographic video [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the SIGCHI conference on Human factors in computing systems - CHI '98, 1998
In this paper, we describe the implementation of a novel system which enables a user to “carve” a simple free-standing electronic holographic image using a force-feedback device. The force-feedback (or haptic) device has a stylus which is held by the hand like an ordinary cutting tool.

Novel Non‐Cytotoxic Acylphosphinates and Acylphosphine Oxides Photoinitiators

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Novel acylphosphine oxide (APO) and acylphosphinate photoinitiators based on DPO and DOPO were designed to investigate structure–property relationships including photochemical performance, polymerization efficiency and cytotoxicity. While DPO derivatives showed excellent reactivity, DOPO‐based systems also displayed good efficiency and significantly ...

Tele-Robotics VR with Holographic Vision in Immersive Video [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 1st Workshop on Interactive eXtended Reality, 2022
We present a first-of-its-kind end-to-end tele-robotic VR system where the user operates a robot arm remotely, while being virtually immersed into the scene through force feedback and holographic vision. In contrast to stereoscopic head mounted displays that only provide depth perception to the user, the holographic vision device projects a light field,
