Ray Transfer Matrix for Onion-Type GRIN Lenses [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2022
We present the computation of an ABCD matrix for onion-type GRIN lenses. By applying a differential approximation of the layer thickness, the matrix product of a high number of matrices is synthetized into a single matrix where the elements are integrals.

Multilayer medium behavior simulation in the presence of delamination defects [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2023
The article is devoted to the study of the steady harmonic oscillation excitation processes by a surface source in a multilayer linearly elastic layered half-plane with an internal defect. The application of the work results is associated with the design

Convolution Representation of Traveling Pulses in Reaction-Diffusion Systems

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2023
Convolution representation manifests itself as an important tool in the reduction of partial differential equations. In this study, we consider the convolution representation of traveling pulses in reaction-diffusion systems.

Flow characteristics in a parallel-plate porous channel under convective boundary conditions and triple diffusion for the non-Darcy porous matrix

open access: yesPropulsion and Power Research, 2021
This article inspects the effect of triple diffusion in a vertical conduit encapsulated with porous matrix and subjected to third kind boundary conditions.

An efficient one-step proximal method for EIT sparse reconstruction based on nonstationary iterated Tikhonov regularization

open access: yesApplied Mathematics in Science and Engineering, 2023
Image reconstruction of EIT mathematically is a seriously ill-posed inverse problem, which is easily affected by measurement noise. This fact leads to a relatively low spatial resolution, particularly in the accuracy of identifying object boundaries ...

Marche au hasard d’une quasi-particule massive dans le gaz de phonons d’un superfluide à très basse température

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Physique, 2021
We consider in dimension 3 a homogeneous superfluid at very low temperature $T$ having two types of excitations, (i) gapless acoustic phonons with a linear dispersion relation at low wave number, and (ii) gapped $\gamma $ quasiparticles with a quadratic (

Physical Insights Into Cylindrical Illusion Device With Isotropic and Homogeneous Materials

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The cylindrical illusion device with isotropic and homogeneous materials is studied deeply based on the Mie scattering theory. The formula for illusion of core-shell structure is derived in the quasistatic approximation.

Simulation of mixed convection of a variable viscosity fluid in a partially porous horizontal channel with a heat-generating source [PDF]

open access: yesКомпьютерные исследования и моделирование, 2019
Numerical study of unsteady mixed convection in an open partially porous horizontal channel with a heatgenerating source was performed. The outer surfaces of horizontal walls of finite thickness were adiabatic.

Analytical solution of elastostatic problems of a simply connected body loaded with nonconservative volume forces: theoretical and algorithmic support

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2020
The possibility of constructing a full-parametric analytical solution of the stress-strain state problem for the body caused by the influence of volumetric forces is studied.

Properties of a finite fully spin-polarized free homogeneous one-dimensional electron gas

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
The homogeneous electron gas model has been quite successful to predict the bulk properties of systems of electrons at various densities. In many occasions, a simplified free homogeneous electron gas model represents a powerful first approximation to a ...
