Generalized Uncertainty Principles on Spaces of Homogeneous Type

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 1994
The author presents a generalized version of Weyl's law and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle on connected spaces of homogeneous type with finite volume (e.g. Riemannian manifolds or fractals as well). Theorems proved in this interesting paper establish a correspondence between the geometry and spectral properties of some model positive operator ...

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

On complete lifts of reductive homogeneous spaces and generalized symmetric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 1986
M. Toomanian has proved in his Ph. D. Thesis (Southampton, 1975) that, roughly speaking, the complete lift of a generalized symmetric Riemannian space (M,g) to its tangent bundle TM is again a generalized symmetric Riemannian space. The main goal of this paper is to re-prove the Toomanian's result in a more systematic way.

On some new sharp embedding theorems in minimal and pseudoconvex domains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
summary:We present new sharp embedding theorems for mixed-norm analytic spaces in pseudoconvex domains with smooth boundary. New related sharp results in minimal bounded homogeneous domains in higher dimension are also provided.

Clinical Outcomes of SEEG‐Guided Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation in Children With Focal Drug‐Resistant Epilepsy: A Multicenter Real‐World Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Nonholonomic LR systems as Generalized Chaplygin systems with an invariant measure and geodesic flows on homogeneous spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We consider a class of dynamical systems on a compact Lie group G with a left-invariant metric and right-invariant nonholonomic constraints (so called LR systems) and show that, under a generic condition on the constraints, such systems can be ...

Schwarz type lemmas and their applications in Banach spaces

open access: yes, 2022
The main purpose of this paper is to develop some methods to investigate the Schwarz type lemmas of holomorphic mappings and pluriharmonic mappings in Banach spaces.

Sex‐Stratified Association of Regional Dopamine Transporter Binding With Disease Progression in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To clarify the clinical relevance of dopamine transporter single‐photon emission computed tomography (DAT‐SPECT) abnormalities in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), with a prespecified focus on sex‐stratified associations with disease progression and short‐term prognosis.

Assessing the Sensitivity and the Clinical Impact of the 2023 American College of Rheumatology/EULAR Classification Criteria in Obstetric Antiphospholid Syndrome: Findings From a Multicenter Italian Cohort With a Long‐Term Follow‐Up

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the sensitivity of the 2023 American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/EULAR classification criteria for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) in a real‐world cohort of women diagnosed with primary obstetric APS (oAPS) and to assess their ability to identify patients at risk of future pregnancy complications ...
