On complete lifts of reductive homogeneous spaces and generalized symmetric spaces [PDF]

M. Toomanian has proved in his Ph. D. Thesis (Southampton, 1975) that, roughly speaking, the complete lift of a generalized symmetric Riemannian space (M,g) to its tangent bundle TM is again a generalized symmetric Riemannian space. The main goal of this paper is to re-prove the Toomanian's result in a more systematic way.
