Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Analyzing the impact of conflictive dental characters on the phylogeny of octodontoid rodents [PDF]
Systematics of fossil octodontoids (Rodentia, Caviomorpha) is in great part based on insights into the knowledge of teeth, making the step of dental characterization certainly relevant for the evolutionary reconstruction of these rodents.

Homological descent for motivic homology theories [PDF]
We show that motivic homology, motivic Borel-Moore homology and higher Chow groups satisfy homological descent for hyperenvelopes, and l-hyperenvelopes after inverting l.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Morphological homology, evolution, and proposed nomenclature for bear dentition [PDF]
Bears are a group of carnivores with diverse diets and complicated dental structure. Several large rearrangements of dental structures are known in different lineages of bears, making the homology of dental structures between the different bears ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Action minimizing solutions of the Newtonian n-body problem: from homology to symmetry
An action minimizing path between two given configurations, spatial or planar, of the $n$-body problem is always a true -- collision-free -- solution.

Twisted K-homology,Geometric cycles and T-duality [PDF]
Twisted $K$-homology corresponds to $D$-branes in string theory. In this paper we compare two different models of geometric twisted $K$-homology and get their equivalence.
