Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Poincaré duality in Hochschild (co)homology [PDF]
These are notes on van den Bergh’s analogue of Poincar´e duality in Hochschild (co)homology [VdB98]. They are based on survey talks that I gave in 2006 in G¨ottingen, Cambridge and Warsaw and consist of an elementary explanation of the proof in terms ...

Annular link Floer homology and gl(1|1) [PDF]
The Reshetikhin-Turaev construction for the quantum group U_q(gl(1|1)) sends tangles to C(q)-linear maps in such a way that a knot is sent to its Alexander polynomial.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Instanton Floer Homology [PDF]
Andreas Floer [93] associated with every integral homology 3-sphere eight finitely generated abelian groups In(Σ), n = 0,..., 7, which are now referred to as the (instanton) Floer homology.

GeneWeld: Efficient Targeted Integration Directed by Short Homology in Zebrafish [PDF]
Efficient precision genome engineering requires high frequency and specificity of integration at the genomic target site. Multiple design strategies for zebrafish gene targeting have previously been reported with widely varying frequencies for germline ...

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Tautological classes and symmetry in Khovanov-Rozansky homology [PDF]
We define a new family of commuting operators F_k in Khovanov-Rozansky link homology, similar to the action of tautological classes in cohomology of character varieties. We prove that F_2 satisfies "hard Lefshetz property" and hence exhibits the symmetry
