Tumor‐agnostic detection of circulating tumor DNA in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer using targeted DNA methylation sequencing and cell‐free DNA fragmentomics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We evaluated circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection in advanced pancreatic cancer using DNA methylation, cell‐free DNA fragment lengths, and 5′ end motifs. Machine learning models were trained to estimate ctDNA levels from each feature and their combination.

Numerical simulation of horizontal well network fracturing in glutenite reservoir

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 2018
Hydraulic fracturing is an economically effective technology developing the glutenite reservoirs, which have far stronger heterogeneity than the conventional sandstone reservoir.

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.

Modeling of non-stationary fluid inflow to a multisectional horizontal well

open access: yesGeoresursy, 2018
For a more uniform production of oil reserves, horizontal wells are equipped with intelligent completion systems with remotely controlled multisection inflow control equipment and sensors to monitor pressure and temperature.

On the global well-posedness for the Boussinesq system with horizontal dissipation

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we investigate the Cauchy problem for the tridimensional Boussinesq equations with horizontal dissipation. Under the assumption that the initial data is an axisymmetric without swirl, we prove the global well-posedness for this system.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Design of Horizontal Well Program for Ajeel Field

open access: yesIraqi Journal of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, 2014
Horizontal wells are of great interest to the petroleum industry today because they provide an attractive means for improving both production rate and recovery efficiency. The great improvements in drilling technology make it possible to drill horizontal

SELECTING OPTIMAL DESIGN OF A HORIZONTAL WELL BY NUMERICAL MODELING

open access: yesВестник Северо-Кавказского федерального университета, 2022
Computer aided design of a horizontal well without flush tubes providing optimal operating conditions with regard to varying pressure along horizontal well length, to the presence of deviated and slant segments is considered.

Effects of tidally enhanced stellar wind on the horizontal branch morphology of globular clusters

open access: yes, 2012
Metallicity is the first parameter to influence the horizontal branch (HB) morphology of globular clusters (GCs). It has been found, however, that some other parameters may also play an important role in affecting the morphology.

Actin dynamics controlled by IqgC, a RasGAP at the crossroads between the IQGAP and fungal GAP1 families

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IqgC is a RasGAP from Dictyostelium discoideum. IqgC binds RasG via its RasGAP domain and deactivates it on macroendocytic cups, thereby suppressing the uptake of fluid and particles. IqgC has a positive effect on cell‐substratum adhesion, and its RGCt domain is required for recruitment to ventral foci.
