Light‐Programmable Interfaces: From Molecular Photoswitching to Adaptive Membrane Separations

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review advances an interface‐centered framework for light‐responsive membranes, linking molecular photoswitches (azobenzene (AZO), spiropyran (SP), diarylethene (DAE), donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASA), photoacid) to integration strategies in polymeric, porous, self‐assembled, and mixed‐matrix systems.

Synthesis and study of a novel supramolecular 'host–guest' complex based on cucurbit[6]uril and 1,4-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine dihydrochloride

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society
A novel supramolecular complex C44H71Cl2N26O22 (CB[6]@Pipa·2HCl) of the “host-guest” type has been synthesized. It is based on cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]) with dihydrochloride 1,4-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine (Pipa·2HCl) localized within the portals of the ...

Monastic hospitality : explorations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In a theoretical model, religious retreats are placed by Lynch (2005a) within the category of traditional commercial homes, noting that the essence of a commercial home is the use of the home as a vehicle for generating income.

Electronic Structure Modulation Induced by Asymmetric Cu─Ni Centers in a π‐Conjugated Triazine MOF

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A π‐conjugated H3TATB‐based asymmetric bimetallic CuNi‐MOF was developed as an efficient electrocatalyst for alkaline hydrogen evolution. Benefiting from synergistic Cu–Ni interactions, enhanced charge transfer, and stabilized active sites, CuNi‐MOF delivers superior HER performance with low overpotential, improved kinetics, and 24 h durability.

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Structural Modulation of Charge Transfer in Donor–Acceptor Systems: Effects of Donor Type and Connectivity

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A coherent phthalimide acceptor platform with planar (Cz—carbazole) and spiro‐type (SAF—spiroacridine fluorene) donors enables systematic tuning of donor geometry and coupling, driving the evolution of excited‐state topology from classical CT‐TADF and fluorescence/RTP to CT‐driven and LE‐assisted TADF with OLED efficiencies ≈ 36%.
