How Are Australian Local Governments Responding to the Homelessness Crisis? Findings From a National Study

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Australian local governments are facing intensifying pressures to respond to worsening visible homelessness. This paper presents one of the first national studies on how local governments are responding to these pressures, and the first since the onset of the post‐pandemic housing crisis.

A Robust Metal‐Organic Framework With ‘Molecular Gates’ for Efficient Separation of Ethane From Ethylene

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
By installing an amino‐based molecular gate at a specific site within a robust zinc‐adenine framework, temperature‐tunable inversion of C2H6/C2H4 selectivity is achieved, enabling single‐step on‐stream production of polymer‐grade ethylene. ABSTRACT Ethane‐selective sorbents can enable single‐step purification of ethylene but remain elusive to date.

Hydrogels Under Superchaotropic Control: Polyoxometalate Stabilization and pH‐Responsive Crosslinking in Cellulose Ether Solutions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Superchaotropic binding of Keggin polyoxometalates (POMs) to non‐ionic biopolymers like cellulose ethers (CEs) stabilizes otherwise hydrolytically unstable POMs in aqueous solution and allows conversion of pH‐nonresponsive polymers into pH‐responsive soft materials. The pH‐driven conversion from plenary to lacunary POMs switches superchaotropic binding

Stimuli‐Responsive Silsesquioxane Nanozymes for Organocatalysis in Water and Prodrug Activation in Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Amino‐bearing silsesquioxanes are water‐stable nanozymes that exhibit aggregation‐ and disaggregation‐dependent catalysis and can be applied to intracellular prodrug activation for cancer therapy. ABSTRACT Synthetic nanozymes have emerged as promising alternatives to natural enzymes for catalytic and therapeutic applications, yet their limited ...

Reconfiguration of Multiphase Coacervate Droplets Into Self‐Regulated Nested Artificial Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Living cells advance functionality through spatiotemporal sub‐compartmentalization and internal organization. Herein, we develop a self‐regulated artificial cell by transforming a membrane‐less multiphase coacervate droplet (MCD) into a membranized, structurally reinforced nested coacervate vesicle (NCV).

Circularly Polarized Luminescent and Melt‐Processable Copper(I)‐Organic Glasses Based on 2,2′‐Bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Homochiral Cu(I) cyanide complexes based on 2,2’‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1’‐binaphthyl (BINAP) form melt‐quenched and desolvation‐derived metal–organic glasses that exhibit circularly polarized thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) at room temperature, enabling processable chiroptical materials.
