γ‐Cyclodextrin‐Based 2:2 Host–Guest Complexes With Emergent Circularly Polarized Luminescence
Discrete 2:2 host–guest complexes provide a well‐defined platform for correlating supramolecular structure with emergent photophysical behavior. Although γ‐cyclodextrin (γ‐CD) is widely used in aqueous host–guest chemistry, structurally well‐defined 2:2 ...

Reversible intercalation of methyl viologen as a dicationic charge carrier in aqueous batteries
Rechargeable batteries are governed by reversible intercalation reactions. Here the authors expand the intercalation chemistry to include methyl viologen as a large dicationic charge carrier in aqueous batteries.

Fuel‐free Cu2O‐based micromotors functionalized with β‐cyclodextrin actively remove bisphenol A from water under visible light. The cyclodextrin shell captures BPA and enhances micromotor motility, leading to faster degradation and higher overall removal than nonfunctionalized Cu2O and Cu2O@Au.

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

Exploring Catalysis inside Self-assembled Supramolecular Containers
Our group is interested in applying supramolecular host systems as catalysts for challenging transformations. Although a variety of supramolecular containers has been described in literature, their use as reaction chambers is still underexplored.

Ultra-large supramolecular coordination cages composed of endohedral Archimedean and Platonic bodies
Host–guest chemistry in hollow coordination cages can be exploited for a range of applications, but is often limited by inner cavity dimensions. Here, Schmitt and co-workers fabricate supramolecular keplerates that possess ultra-large cross-sectional ...

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

A nanoparticle‐cluster‐on‐mirror (NPcoM) serves as a functionally deterministic sub‐nanocavity that emulates picocavities, enabling extreme light–matter interactions and polaritonic phenomena. ABSTRACT Pushing nanoscale optical confinement to its ultimate limits defines the regime of nano‐cavity quantum electrodynamics (nano‐cQED), where light‐matter ...
