Mean field effects in hot compressed nuclear matter [PDF]
We study effects of the mean field in hot compressed nuclear matter in the context of the Vlasov Uehling-Uhlenbeck theory. The expansion of a spherical distribution at different temperatures is studied along with collisions of Nb+Nb and Au+Au at lab energies from 50 to 1050 MeV/nucleon.

Deformation behavior of a new Ni-Co base superalloy GH4251 during hot compression
The deformation behavior of a new Ni-Co base superalloy GH4251 under hot compression tests within the deformation strain window of 0.36 to 1.2 was investigated in the temperature range of 1050 ∼ 1170 °C and strain rate range of 0.001 ∼ 1 s ^−1 . Based on

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

Atomic structure of hot compressed borosilicate glasses [PDF]
Abstract Borosilicate glasses have been in widespread use for over a century; however, a detailed understanding of the structural response to densification is still lacking. In this work, two commercial borosilicate glasses, viz., SCHOTT N‐BK7 ® (N‐BK7) and Borofloat33

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Hydrolysis of Dimethyl Methylphosphonate (DMMP) in Hot-Compressed Water
Dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) is widely used as a chemical surrogate for G- and V-type nerve agents, exhibiting similar physiochemical properties, yet significantly lower toxicity. Continuous hydrolysis of DMMP in hot-compressed water is performed at temperatures from 200 to 300 °C, pressures of 20 and 30 MPa, and residence ...

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

7055 aluminum alloy was produced by twin-roll casting (TRC) and by conventional mold casting (MC). Homogenization at 465 °C for 24 h with natural cooling was applied, followed by uniaxial hot compression tests to verify the hot workability of the alloy ...
