Parameter analysis of hot plate in lithography process based on regression orthogonal experiment design

open access: yes, 2011
In lithography process, wafers need to be baked on the hot plate. There are very high requirement to the temperature uniformity of hot plate surface. To the problem of choosing design parameters, the orthogonal experimental design method was used, the ...

Upcycling Keratin‐Based Textile Waste Into High‐Performance Hybrid Fibers Via Tuning the Interfacial Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Keratin recovered from animal‐hair textile waste is fractionated and blended with cellulose to produce continuously spun hybrid fibers. Selecting the high‐molecular‐weight keratin fraction enables 30 wt.% keratin incorporation while maintaining high strength in dry and wet states.

Evalution of Hot Mix Asphalt Moisture Sensitivity Using the Nottingham Asphalt Test Equipment, July 2005 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Moisture sensitivity of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) mixtures, generally called stripping, is a major form of distress in asphalt concrete pavement. It is characterized by the loss of adhesive bond between the asphalt binder and the aggregate (a failure of the ...

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

Anti-Inflammatory and Antinociceptive Activities of Bufalin in Rodents

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, 2014
The aims of this study were to evaluate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of bufalin, a major component of “Chan-su.” We used a carrageenan-induced paw edema model to assess the anti-inflammatory activity of this compound, and Western blot ...

Tantalum–Palladium Ultrathin Resistance Hydrogen Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoconfined Ta‐alloy thin films enable fast, reversible hydrogen sensing by suppressing unwanted phase transitions. A Ta0.88${\rm Ta}_{0.88}$Pd0.12${\rm Pd}_{0.12}$ sensing layer delivers hysteresis‐free detection from ppb to 100% H2${\rm H}_2$ at room temperature.

Crustal structure of the Cape Verde Swell: Insights into the flexural response of the lithosphere to loading [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Throughout the ocean basins many broad regions of anomalously shallow topography exist that do not fit the widely accepted model of conductive plate cooling and subsidence as a function of lithospheric age.
