Separation of polysaccharides from Spirulina platensis by HSCCC with ethanol-ammonium sulfate ATPS and their antioxidant activities

Carbohydrate Polymers, 2017
Three separation methods for water-soluble polysaccharides from Spirulina platensis (PSP) were compared, including sevage deproteinization and column chromatography, ethanol-ammonium sulfate aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) and column chromatography, and one-step high speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) with ethanol-ammonium sulfate ATPS.

Preparation and Purification of Epigallocatechin by High‐Speed Countercurrent Chromatography (HSCCC)

Journal of Liquid Chromatography and Related Technologies, 2004
Abstract Epigallocatechin (EGC) was prepared by the degallation of Epigallocatechin‐O‐3‐gallate (EGCG). EGCG was completely converted to EGC and gallic acid by adding 4 mg tannase/100 mg EGCG at the concentration of 2 mg/mL under pH 6.0, at 35°C for 30 min.

HSCCC-Tchebichef moment regression approach for enhanced quantification of oleuropein in olive leaf extracts.

Journal of Chromatography A
Oleuropein, a major bioactive phenolic compound from olive leaves, has attracted considerable interest for its health benefits. Targeted fractionation of oleuropein from crude extracts is hampered by the co-existence of numerous structurally similar ...

PREPARATIVE ISOLATION AND PURIFICATION OF LUTONARIN AND SAPONARIN FROM BARLEY SEEDLINGS BY HSCCC

Journal of Liquid Chromatography and Related Technologies, 2012
In order to isolate large amounts of pure lutonarin and saponarin, a high performance method for isolation and purification of these two flavonoids from barley (Hordeum vulgare) seedlings was successfully established by utilizing high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC). Separation was performed with a two-phase solvent system: ethyl acetate/n-

Preparative HSCCC isolation of phloroglucinolysis products from grape seed polymeric proanthocyanidins as new powerful antioxidants.

Food Chemistry, 2015
Polymeric proanthocyanidins isolated from a grape seed phenolic extract were hydrolysed in the presence of phloroglucinol into monomer catechins and their nucleophile derivatives. Each of the phloroglucinolysis products was successfully separated and isolated in large amount by semi-preparative HSCCC technique under the optimized conditions based on a ...
