Motion Correction for Brain MRI Using Deep Learning and a Novel Hybrid Loss Function
Purpose: Motion-induced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) artifacts can deteriorate image quality and reduce diagnostic accuracy, but motion by human subjects is inevitable and can even be caused by involuntary physiological movements. Deep-learning-based

Cosmic ray modulation by high-speed solar wind fluxes [PDF]
Cosmic ray intensity variations connected with recurrent high-speed fluxes (HSF) of solar wind are investigated. The increase of intensity before the Earth gets into a HSF, north-south anisotropy and diurnal variation of cosmic rays inside a HSF as well ...

Unusual Behavior of Antiferromagnetic Superconductors in Low Magnetic Fields
In this article, we examine the superconducting properties of low- and high-$T_c$ magnetic superconductors in magnetic fields close to the first penetration field.

Tackling Poverty Across the United Kingdom. Devolution, Difference and Discourse
ABSTRACT The UK welfare state is often considered as being highly centralised, yet the design and administration of UK social security involves significant spatial variations in law, policy, and practice. As such, where you live in the UK can affect the value of benefits and cash transfers you are entitled to, as well as how you experience benefit ...

Magnetic resonance in the antiferromagnetic and normal state of NH_3K_3C_60
We report on the magnetic resonance of NH_3K_3C_60 powders in the frequency range of 9 to 225 GHz. The observation of an antiferromagnetic resonance below the phase transition at 40 K is evidence for an antiferromagnetically ordered ground state.

ABSTRACT High temperature has posed significant challenges to global agriculture, markedly leading to reduced fertility and yield losses in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum). Therefore, thermotolerance‐conferring genes and loci are needed to further improve cultivated tomatoes.

Proposal for HSF Project Best Practices
This technical note is a proposed list of best practices for HSF projects. The main motivation is to ensure interoperability and usability of a given project by other projects and being able to build consistent software stacks. In addition it should make it easier for other developers to contribute to existing projects.

ABSTRACT Drought stress is a major abiotic factor that severely affects plant growth and food production. Identifying drought‐resistant genes and their regulatory mechanisms is essential for mitigating the negative impacts of drought on plants. In this study, we identified a natural single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) mutation in SlWRKY16 that is ...
