ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

Movement Disorders in Aicardi–Goutières Syndrome and Response to Immunomodulation
ABSTRACT This study characterizes movement disorders and treatment responses in seven children with Aicardi–Goutières syndrome (AGS). We retrospectively evaluated motor phenotypes, neuroimaging, and interferon signatures in patients treated with baricitinib or anifrolumab. Spasticity affected all patients, while dystonia was present in 4/7.

Are hsps suitable for indicating stressed states in fish?
In response to most stressors, fish will elicit a generalized physiological stress response, which involves the activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-interrenal axis (HPI).

Heat shock proteins (HSPs) based anti-cancer vaccines [PDF]
The importance of HSPs themselves in antigen presentation and cross-presentation remains controversial. Most studies agree that as part of their molecular chaperone function, HSPs can bind and present tumor associated antigens to professional antigen ...

Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Hsps are up-regulated in melanoma tissue and correlate with patient clinical parameters
Heat shock proteins (hsps) have been studied in numerous cancer types, but a clear view of their clinical relevance in melanoma remains elusive. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the expression of hsps in melanoma with respect to ...

Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,

Correlation between the expression of different hsps.
Melanoma cell lines were cultured in 2% O2 and 20% O2 for five days. Following the culture period cell lines were harvested, stained with PE-conjugated antibodies to Hsps 90, 70, 60, 40 and 32 and protein expression assessed by flow cytometry.

HSPs/STAT3 Interplay Sustains DDR and Promotes Cytokine Release by Primary Effusion Lymphoma Cells
Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) is a rare and aggressive B-cell lymphoma, against which current therapies usually fail. In the present study, we show that targeting HSPs, such as HSP27, HSP70 and HSP90, could be an efficient strategy to reduce PEL cell ...
