Quantification of human adenoviruses in European recreational waters [PDF]
The presence of human adenoviruses in recreational water might cause disease in the population upon exposure. Human adenoviruses detected by PCR could also serve as indicators of the virological water quality.

Chicken adenovirus (CELO virus) particles augment receptor-mediated DNA delivery to mammalian cells and yield exceptional levels of stable transformants. [PDF]
Delivery of genes via receptor-mediated endocytosis is severely limited by the poor exit of endocytosed DNA from the endosome. A large enhancement in delivery efficiency has been obtained by including human adenovirus particles in the delivery system ...

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Real-time PCR quantification of human adenoviruses in urban rivers indicates genome prevalence but low infectivity [PDF]
Real-time PCR was applied to quantify the abundance of human adenoviruses in two southern California urban rivers, the San Gabriel and Los Angeles.

Aim We aimed to investigate whether genetic variation is associated with venous thromboembolism after immunization with SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccines. Methods We conducted a genome‐wide association study (GWAS) on cases of venous thromboembolism within 42 days after SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccination, recruited from reports of adverse drug reactions sent to the Swedish ...

The potential of a novel Adenovirus vector for vaccination [PDF]
Adenoviruses (Ads) have many attractive characteristics for use as agents of genebased vaccines and therapies. The most frequently used Ad vectors in preclinical research are based on Ad5.

Infectivity period of mice inoculated with human adenoviruses [PDF]
Due to non-productive infections, mice are not a good model to study some human adenoviruses. However, mice provide an excellent model to study the metabolic effects of human adenovirus, Ad36.

What Makes an “Ideal” Cell Line for Recombinant Adeno‐Associated Virus Production?
Several host cell types have been used to produce rAAVs to date. Cell line‐specific traits that are beneficial in the context of rAAV manufacturing are reviewed here, with the goal of developing a consensus on the ‘ideal’ characteristics that an rAAV production host should possess (created with Biorender.com).

Identification of genes differentially expressed as result of adenovirus type 5- and adenovirus type 12-transformation [PDF]
Background: Cells transformed by human adenoviruses (Ad) exhibit differential capacities to induce tumours in immunocompetent rodents; for example, Ad12-transformed rodent cells are oncogenic whereas Ad5-transformed cells are not. The E1A gene determines
