A Novel CD24+ Subpopulation For Pulpitis Traeatment And Pulp Regeneration
Aim or purpose: The pulp regeneration strategy is important to treat pulpitis and pulp necrosis. Yet the key functional subpopulation and mechanism that governs the odontogenic fate decisions remain largely unknown. Materials and methods: In our study, a

Periodontitis and Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes: Mechanistic Evidence
This narrative review aims to describe mechanisms linking periodontal diseases in pregnancy with adverse pregnancy outcomes. ABSTRACT Periodontal diseases, including both gingivitis and periodontitis, occur commonly among pregnant individuals. Both gingivitis and periodontitis are associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs) such as early ...

Human dental pulp stem/stromal cells in clinical practice
Dental pulp stem/stromal cells (DPSCs) are fibroblast-like, neural crest-derived, and multipotent cells that can differentiate into several lineages. They are relatively easy to isolate from healthy and inflamed pulps, with little ethical concerns and can be successfully cryopreserved and thawed.

Proteomic Analysis of Stromal Cells Derived from the Dental Pulp of Human Exfoliated Deciduous Teeth
Human dental pulp derived from exfoliated deciduous teeth has been described as a promising alternative source of multipotent stem cells. While these cells share certain similarities with mesenchymal stem-like cells (MSC) isolated from other tissues ...

ABSTRACT Background R‐Loops are three‐stranded DNA/RNA hybrids implicated in immune responses. Their role in mesenchymal stem cell differentiation, particularly in dental pulp regeneration under inflammation, remains unclear. Methods Rat pulpo‐dentinal complex (PDC) injury models and LPS‐stimulated human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) were used.

Biobanking of human teeth for stem cell storage: preserving stem cells for future needs
Human teeth serve as a potential reservoir for post-embryonic mesenchymal dental stem cells. Researchers have identified and isolated seven types of dental stem cells from pulp and periodontal ligament tissues.

Ion Channel Dysfunction and Therapeutic Targeting in Salivary Gland Disorders
ABSTRACT Objective Salivary gland hypofunction and xerostomia represent major clinical complications of radiation therapy, autoimmune disorders such as Sjögren's disease, and inherited epithelial ion transport defects. This review integrates current knowledge on ion channel dysfunction as a central mechanistic driver of salivary gland pathology and ...

CGRP-mediated neuro-vascular-pulp cell crosstalk is essential for dental pulp repair
IntroductionThe repair of dental pulp injury is the cornerstone of vital pulp therapy. Traditional research has predominantly focused on the roles of immune cells, vascular endothelial cells, and dental pulp stem cells, often overlooking the active ...

660‐nm photobiomodulation increased metabolic activity, modulated cell cycle distribution, and increased apparent surface coverage in dental stem cells cultured on polylactic acid films, with 4 J/cm2 producing the most consistent response and a greater G2/M fraction than 1 J/cm2.
