ABSTRACT Aim Dental pulp‐derived cells have attracted attention as an accessible source of mesenchymal stem cell‐like cells for bone regeneration. However, donor‐to‐donor variability in osteogenic potential remains a challenge for their clinical application.

The dental papilla (DP) is essential for the development of dentin and pulp. The extensive cellular heterogeneity within the DP is a critical factor underlying the complex and precise formation of dental structures during odontogenesis.

An Anatomist's View on the Crosstalk Between the Liver and the Lung
The liver and the lung have a similar three‐dimensional and cellular architecture as well as functional communalities. The structural, functional, and pathophysiological interplay between both organs suggests the existence of an interorgan axis, the liver‐lung axis. Created in biorender.com.

ABSTRACT Objectives The prognosis of an avulsed, replanted tooth over the long term hinges on whether the periodontal ligament (PDL) and the dental pulp can be preserved or regenerated. When extra‐oral dry time is prolonged, PDL necrosis follows, and the root becomes prone to inflammatory or replacement (ankylotic) resorption.

Chitosan‐based hydrogels are evolving from simple local drug carriers into multifunctional periodontal platforms that integrate antimicrobial, anti‐inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative functions. Chemical crosslinking, nanocomposite design, and stimulus‐responsive architectures enable adaptive therapeutic delivery.

Dental pulp stem cells, niches, and notch signaling in tooth injury
Stem cells guarantee tissue repair and regeneration throughout life. The decision between cell self-renewal and differentiation is influenced by a specialized microenvironment called the 'stem cell niche'.

Understanding the interplay between climate change and ecology is crucial when attempting to reconstruct the evolutionary history of species. Here we use dental microwear texture analysis to infer the foraging ecologies of three lineages of early ungulates across the Paleocene–Eocene Thermal Maximum. We recovered differences in foraging guilds and only

Characterization of dental pulp stem cells isolated from canine premolars
INTRODUCTION: Dogs are commonly used animal models for regenerative endodontics research. Although several studies have used stem cells isolated from dog teeth to investigate the dentin/pulp regeneration in vivo, less attention has been paid for the ...

Proteomic signatures of equine dental tooth tissues in ageing and disease
Abstract Background Ageing and dental disease in horses lead to structural and functional deterioration of dental tissues, yet their molecular signatures remain poorly characterised. Understanding how these processes alter the protein composition of enamel, dentin, cementum and pulp is essential for improving equine oral health and identifying ...
