Nucleotide Actions on Humoral Immune Responses
The Journal of Nutrition, 1994Previous studies indicate the importance of dietary nucleotides in maintaining optimal cellular immunity. Our studies using murine spleen cells showed that polynucleotides significantly increase in vitro antibody production in response to T-cell-dependent antigen.

Cellular Interactions in the Humoral Immune Response
1989Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the interactions between T and B cells and the role of accessory cells and cytokines in the generation of specific antibody responses. The first part of the chapter is a historic perspective followed by a summary of the present-day concepts.

Humoral Immune Response to Mammalian Allergens
Allergy and Asthma Proceedings, 1987Solid-phase enzyme immunoassay and passive hemagglutination were used to study the occurrence of antibodies of various isotypes against feline and bovine epithelial extracts in RAST-positive patients, exposed subjects (cat fanciers and senior veterinary students) and healthy controls.

Humoral Immune Response to the Antigen Administered as an Immune Complex
Immunological Investigations, 1992Antigen (HSA) bound in immune complexes at equivalence with syngeneic anti-HSA antibodies elicit much stronger humoral immune response then soluble HSA. On the other hand, administration of immune complexes formed with xenogeneic (rabbit) anti-HSA antibodies suppressed humoral immune response against HSA, but not against rabbit IgG in mice.

Humoral immune responses in human loaiasis.
Bollettino dell'Istituto sieroterapico milanese, 1982Some immunological parameters in three white patients who contracted loaiasis in endemic areas are reported. Microfilariae count in peripheral blood was elevated in one patient, discrete in another while in the third no microfilariae were detected. Serum IgE levels were elevated in two patients and normal in one of them.

The cellular and humoral basis of the immune response
Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, 1983Class II molecules, called Ia molecules or DR, are expressed in macrophages, B lymphocytes, and activated T cells. Through these molecules, the B and T cells produce the immune response. Furthermore, this class of glycoproteins can serve as markers for the immune responses and their related disorders, ie, autoimmune disease.

Humoral Immune Response to Allografts of Bone
International Archives of Allergy and Applied Immunology, 2009A study of production of cytotoxic antibodies in rats receiving Ag-B disparate cortical or cancellous bone allografts has been made. The results indicate that marrow-containing cancellous grafts elicit a pattern of antibody production which is very similar to that following skin grafts.
