FEBS Letters, 1985 Chordin is a protein discovered in the notochord cells of the representatives of Acipenseridae; giant sturgeon, stellate sturgeon and sterlet. Some characteristics of the purified chordin preparation which justify its use in radioimmunoassay are described.
