Vesicle−Polymer Hybrid Architectures: A Full Account of the Parachute Architecture
Langmuir, 2000We have previously reported that polymerization of styrene in dioctadecyldimethylammonium bromide (DODAB) vesicles leads to so-called parachute-like morphologies where a polymer bead is attached to a vesicle. To learn the constructive principles of these novel polymer colloids, we present here a full characterization study.

Encapsulation of lysozyme in hybrid vesicles to protect from thermal challenges
International Journal of Biological MacromoleculesThis study explores the formation of hybrid vesicles (HVs) through the co-assembly of dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine (DPPC) and the triblock copolymer F127. Our findings demonstrate that HVs offer enhanced stability compared to pure copolymer micelles and phospholipid vesicles.
