Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Investigation of Mechano-Electrochemical Effects on Hydrogen Distribution at Corrosion Defects
This study employed tensile test, hydrogen permeation measurements, and potentiodynamic polarization testing to investigate the mechanical properties, hydrogen diffusion coefficients, and electrochemical behavior of X80 steel. A multifield coupled finite

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Antitumor effects of hydrogen peroxide in vivo [PDF]
Glucose oxidase, covalently coupled to polystyrene microspheres (GOL), produced H(2)0(2) at an average rate of 3.6 nmol/min per 10(9) beads under standard assay conditions. Injection of 1.3 × 10(10) to 1.1 × 10(11) GOL i.p. prolonged the survival of mice by 27 percent after injection of 10(6) P388 lymphoma cells in the same site, consistent with ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Electron Concept of Hydrogen Embrittlement and Hydrogen-Increased Plasticity of Metals
Based on theoretical and experimental studies of hydrogen effect on the electron structure of iron, nickel and titanium, an electron concept is proposed for hydrogen embrittlement as well as for hydrogen-improved plasticity of engineering metallic ...

Noncommutative Coulombic Monopole
We have constructed the appropriate Hamiltonian of the noncommutative coulombic monopole (i.e. the noncommutative hydrogen atom with a monopole). The energy levels of this system have been calculated, discussed and compared with the noncommutative ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
