This hospital‐based cross‐sectional study assessed knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP), and serum vitamin D concentration among pregnant women in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The majority of the participants demonstrated good knowledge, negative attitudes, inconsistent practices, and a high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency.

Fish are believed not to synthesize vitamin D through UV exposure but to meet their requirements from dietary sources. The high vitamin D levels found in many fish species are thought to originate from UV‐induced synthesis in plankton, with vitamin D subsequently accumulating through the aquatic food chain.

In our meta‐analysis, patients with higher 25‐OH vitamin D levels before CRT implantation had better CRT response rates, while vitamin D insufficiency was linked to a higher risk of nonresponse. These findings underscore the importance of monitoring and managing vitamin D levels in patient with CRT.
