Manipulating Unisexual–Sexual Reproduction Transition to Engineer Genome‐Reconstructed Polyploids
This study developed an efficient approach to generate genome‐reconstructed polyploids involving unisexual gynogenetic Carassius gibelio, sexual C. auratus, and sexual C. cuvieri. The selected superior clone inherited gynogenesis ability of C. gibelio and herpesvirus resistance of wild C.

Peptide Hormone‐Mediated Regulation of Plant Development and Environmental Adaptability
In this review, recent advances in understanding the roles of plant peptide hormones in regulating growth, reproduction, and environmental adaptability are systematically summarized. It further elucidates the challenges in studying these peptides, such as their low abundance, functional redundancy, and complex signaling mechanisms, and highlights their

Structural shaping of a highly reactive chiral Mn‐oxo species translates into exceptionally enantioselective C─H oxidation catalyst of cyclohexyl 1,3‐meso diethers (up to >99% ee) leading to polyfunctionalized cyclohexanes. Abstract Chiral polyoxygenated cyclohexanes are valuable constituents of biologically relevant products.

MnOx‐supported IrRuOx exhibits outstanding OER performance in both liquid electrolytes and real cell environments. The MnOx not only enhances the dispersion of IrRuOx but also induces a compressive strain effect. The incorporation of Ru leads to surface reconstruction.

Visible‐light photoswitchable peptides enable the stabilization of the hydroxylated hypoxia transcription factor 1α (HIF1α—OH) by targeting the pVHL‐EloBC interaction. Significant differences in conformation, binding, and transcription of HIF‐targeted genes between the photostationary states (PSS) were demonstrated.

A green process has been developed utilizing electrochemistry to convert inexpensive, readily available phenol derived from lignin into para‐benzoquinone, a valuable chemical widely used in the manufacturing and chemical industries. For the first time, a novel electrocatalytic oxidation system is achieved with high 96.2% conversion of phenols to para ...

When cellular iron is low, bacterioferritin (Bfr) releases its stored iron through a reductive process dependent on the [2Fe–2S] ferredoxin Bfd. Why accessing stored iron should depend on an iron‐requiring protein when iron is scarce is unclear. Here, we show that the Bfd [2Fe–2S] cluster is sensitive to oxidative stress, suggesting that it may act as ...

Probing Steroidal Substrate Specificity of Cytochrome P450 BM3 Variants
M01A82W, M11A82W and M01A82WS72I are three cytochrome P450 BM3 (CYP102A1) variants. They can catalyze the hydroxylation of testosterone (TES) and norethisterone at different positions, thereby making them promising biocatalysts for steroid hydroxylation.
