Embedding a multichannel ion‐sensitive field‐effect transistor‐pH sensor array in marine sediments: a new approach for continuous in situ pH monitoring

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography: Methods, EarlyView.
Abstract Human activities have significantly increased carbon dioxide emissions, leading to global warming and ocean acidification, which threaten marine ecosystems, including coral reefs with high biodiversity. Coral reef maintenance relies on a balance between calcium carbonate formation and dissolution. Among the processes, sandy sediments, covering

Next Generation Reusable Solid Support for Fmoc‐Based Solid‐Phase Synthesis

open access: yesMacromolecular Chemistry and Physics, EarlyView.
This study presents an efficient on‐resin cyclic acetal formation strategy for resin reuse in Fmoc‐based SPS. The new single‐step approach avoids on‐resin hydrolysis and achieves near‐quantitative yields with fewer resources and reduced reaction times.

Recent Advances in Stimuli‐Responsive Conductive Hydrogels for Smart Sensing and Actuation: Properties, Design Strategies, and Applications

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Conductive hydrogels are a class of multifunctional composites constructed by introducing conductive components into a three‐dimensional polymer network, combining the high water‐content, stretchability, and biocompatibility of traditional hydrogels.
