Morphology of the rat knee joint after intraarticular injection of hydroxymethyl-quinoxaline dioxide

open access: yesMedičnì Perspektivi, 2022
Topical antiseptics are widely used in orthopedics and traumatology. However, studies highlighting the effects of antiseptics during long-term use on joint tissues are limited. In the performed work, the peculiarities of the structure of intra-articular

Microwave-assisted regioselective ring opening of non-activated aziridines by lithium aluminium hydride [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A new synthetic protocol for the LiAlH4-promoted reduction of non-activated aziridines under microwave conditions was developed. Thus, ring opening of 2-(acetoxymethyl)aziridines provided the corresponding beta-amino alcohols, which were then used as ...

1-(Hydroxymethyl)pyrene

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2010
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C17H12O, contains two molecules, in which the fused aromatic ring systems are almost planar [maximum deviations = 0.0529 (9) and 0.0256 (9) Å].

Conformationally-Locked C-Glycosides: Tuning Aglycone Interactions for Optimal Cheperone Behaviour in Gaucher Fibroblasts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A series of conformationally locked C-glycosides based on the 3-aminopyrano[3,2-b]pyrrol-2(1H)-one (APP) scaffold has been synthesized. The key step involved a totally stereocontrolled C-Michael addition of a serine-equivalent C-nucleophile to tri-O ...

A copper complex of an unusual hydroxy–carboxylate ligand: [Cu(bpy)(C4H4O6)]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2021
A copper(II) complex, (2,2′-bipyridine-κ2N,N′)[2-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl-κO)propanedioato-κ2O1,O3]copper(II), [Cu(C4H4O6)(C10H8N2)], containing the unusual anionic chelating ligand 2-(hydroxymethyl)tartronate, has been synthesized.

Synthese und Eigenschaften von (Hydroxymethyl)dimethylgerman und (Hydroxymethyl)diphenylgerman [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1988
Abstract Starting from GeCl4, the (hydroxymethyl)diorganylgermanes (CH3)2Ge(H)CH2OH and (C6H52Ge(H)CH2OH were prepared by a four-step synthesis in total yields of 15 and 32%, respectively (GeCl4 → Cl3GeCH2Cl → R2Ge(Cl)CH2Cl → R2Ge(OAc)CH2OAc → R2Ge(H)CH2OH; R  CH3 or C6H5).

ALMA Detection of Interstellar Methoxymethanol (CH$_3$OCH$_2$OH) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We report the detection of interstellar methoxymethanol (CH$_3$OCH$_2$OH) in ALMA Bands 6 and 7 toward the MM1 core in the high-mass star-forming region NGC 6334I at ~0.1" - 1" spatial resolution. A column density of 4(2) x $10^{18}$ cm$^{-2}$ at $T_{ex}$ = 200 K is derived toward MM1, ~34 times less abundant than methanol (CH$_3$OH), and significantly

NEW N-GLUCOSYLATED SUBSTITUTED ANILINES [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry Journal of Moldova: General, Industrial and Ecological Chemistry, 2015
The reaction of (+)-D-glucose with 4-chloroaniline or 3,5-dibromoaniline leads almost exclusively to the β-configuration of glucosylated anilines. The acetylating of 2-(3,5-dibromophenylamino)-6-(hydroxymethyl)tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3,4,5-triol is less ...

Regioselective and Anisotropic Multi‐Patching of Small Microparticles via a Polymer Brush‐Assisted Microcontact Printing (µCP)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A method to fabricate anisotropic SiO2 patchy microspheres is presented using a modified microcontact printing technique. This involves a PDMS elastomer stamp with grooved surface topography, creating a confined environment for the microspheres.

Interactions of Tris with rutile surfaces and consequences for in vitro bioactivity testing [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris) has been used as the buffer in bioactivity testing for over two decades and has become a standard choice for the scientific community. While it is believed to be non-interacting, the extent of its interactions with titanium oxide surfaces has not been systematically studied.
