The complete mitochondrial genome of Ilyonectria sp. (Hypocreales: Hypocreomycetidae) [PDF]

open access: yesMitochondrial DNA Part B, 2019
In the present study, we presented the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of Ilyonectria sp. The complete mitogenome of Ilypnectria sp. was composed of circular DNA molecules, with a total length of 34, 584 bp. The base composition of this mitogenome is as follows: A (35.31%), T (35.92%), G (15.93%), and C (12.83%).

The complete mitochondrial genome of Alternaria alternata (Hypocreales: Nectriaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesMitochondrial DNA Part B, 2017
In the present study, we presented the complete mitochondrial genome of Alternaria alternata. It has a total length of 50, 107 bp, the base composition of this mitogenome is as follows: A (35.9%), T (34.9%), C (14.4%), and G (14.8%). The mitogenome contains 26 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes, and 25 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes.

The Effect of Grain Type on Virulence of Entomopathogenic Fungi Against Stored Product Pests

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Fungal virulence is multifaceted and dependent on multiple abiotic factors. The present study represents an investigation of the effect of one such abiotic factor, that of the grain type, on the insecticidal action of three entomopathogenic fungal ...

Growth inhibition of Beauveria bassiana by bacteria isolated from the cuticular surface of the corn leafhopper, Dalbulus maidis and the planthopper, Delphacodes kuscheli, two important vectors of maize pathogens [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The phytosanitary importance of the corn leafhopper, Dalbulus maidis (De Long and Wolcott) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) and the planthopper, Delphacodes kuscheli Fennah (Hemiptera: Delphacidae) lies in their ability to transmit phloem-associated plant ...
