Mushrooms are a source of nutrients and bioactive substances. This work, carried out for the first time, aims to evaluate in vitro and in vivo toxicity and antioxidant potential of the wild edible mushroom from the province of Taza, Morocco: Morchella esculenta (L.) Pers., the extraction is carried out using two methods: aqueous and organic.

New data on Turkish hypogeous fungi
In this study, three species of hypogeous fungi are reported in different regions of Anatolian peninsula. Of these, Hydnocystis piligera is presented as the first record of this genus for Turkish mycobiota, while Melanogaster variegatus and Octaviania asterosperma are given as new locality records for Turkey.

Agricultural land use legacies have resulted in expansive secondary forests dominated by arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) trees. In these forests, ectomycorrhizal (EM) tree seedling establishment outside existing EM tree patches may be hindered by a lack of EM fungi, but local soil inoculum from EM tree‐dominated forests can reintroduce native EM fungi into

Abstract Habitat fragmentation reduces gene flow, causing genetic differentiation and diversity loss in endangered species through genetic drift and inbreeding. However, the impact of habitat fragmentation on ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi remains unexplored, despite their critical roles in forest ecosystems.

Terfezia terfezioides - a new hypogeous fungus for Balkan Peninsula
Terfezia terfezioides (Matt.) Trappe was found for the first time in FR Yugoslavia in 1991. Description of the specimens, its mycorrhizal association with Robinta pseudoacacia and distribution in Europe are discussed in the paper.

In vitro interactions between Bradyrhizobium spp. and Tuber magnatum mycelium
Tuber magnatum mycelium, together with its associated bacteria (Bradirhizobium spp.), were isolated for the first time. Cultural and phylogenetic analyses revealed the specificity of this interaction. Abstract Tuber magnatum is the most expensive truffle, but its large‐scale cultivation is still a challenge compared to other valuable Tuber species.
